Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts and Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial activities of our real estate company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:
- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting as per IGAAP & IND AS.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Accounting Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions such as bank transactions, Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Taxation And Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including preparing and filing returns for TDS, GST, and other applicable taxes.
- Coordinate with tax consultants for resolving taxation-related queries and issues.
Budgeting And Forecasting
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with other departments.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Financial Analysis
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management review.
Vendor And Customer Management
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments to vendors and collections from customers.
- Perform vendor and customer reconciliations and manage aging reports.
Internal Controls And Audits
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
MIS Reporting
- Prepare and present management information system (MIS) reports, including cash flow statements, customer aging reports, and vendor aging reports.
Team Management
- Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team, ensuring efficient workflow and performance.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
