Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner (Supply Chain)

About the Opportunity

We are a leading multinational organization operating across Asia and other global markets, and seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to support a large and complex supply chain network, partnering closely with senior operational leaders to drive performance, strategic decision-making, and investment planning. The successful candidate should be a strong commercial finance professional who enjoys partnering with operational leaders and translating complex data into actionable business decisions, and he/ she should be equally comfortable discussing financial performance, investment decisions, logistics operations, and business transformation initiatives.

This role sits at the intersection of Finance and Supply Chain and offers significant exposure to regional leadership, business transformation initiatives, network optimization, and capital investment decisions. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, providing financial insights that support both operational excellence and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Performance & Financial Control

• Partner with supply chain leaders to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Deliver insightful management reporting, performance analysis, and KPI tracking.
• Analyze cost drivers, identify performance gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support inventory performance, capital expenditure governance, and financial controls.

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and latest estimate processes.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support business planning.
• Provide actionable insights through business analytics and financial performance reviews.
• Collaborate with market and regional stakeholders on financial planning activities.

Strategic Investment & Decision Support

• Evaluate capital investment proposals and business cases.
• Provide financial modelling and scenario planning support for strategic projects.
• Assess investment risks, opportunities, and return profiles.
• Partner with stakeholders on large-scale business, operational, and infrastructure initiatives.

Supply Chain Network Optimization

• Support analysis of warehouse and distribution network utilization.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, asset productivity, and operational synergies.
• Provide decision support on logistics, warehousing, transportation, inventory, and network efficiency initiatives.

Transformation & Continuous Improvement

• Drive automation, process simplification, and data-driven decision-making.
• Champion digital finance initiatives and reporting enhancements.
• Lead or support cross-functional projects that improve efficiency, governance, and business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Partnering, or Controlling within a multinational environment.
• Candidates from FMCG and/or Logistics industries are strongly favoured.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance management.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial governance.
• Experience supporting supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or operational functions is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency; experience with SAP, Hyperion, Power BI, or similar analytical tools is advantageous.
• Proven ability to work across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced and matrixed environment.
