Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Finance Analytics

The Senior Manager for Finance Analytics will lead strategic initiatives to optimize commercial and financial performance through advanced analytics. This role requires a visionary leader with expertise in retail analytics, finance strategies, and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
.Develop and implement strategies to enhance commercial and financial performance using advanced analytics.
.Lead initiatives to analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive dynamics to drive sales and profitability.
.Hands on financial modelling and analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
.Advanced Analytics - Utilize cutting-edge analytics tools to provide actionable insights and drive business decisions.
.Team Development - Manage team of analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
.Cross-functional Collaboration - Work closely with marketing, sales, and finance teams to align analytics initiatives with business objectives.
.Technical experience in Python, SQL, R ( is plus) and Exposure to Gen AI.
.Unit Testing Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
.Ensure data quality, validation and transformation logic aligns with business rules and reporting standards.
.Experience in CPG / Retail / Healthcare industry would be good to have
.Exposure to Statistical concepts & Modelling.
.Utilize ERP applications/modules and legacy systems for financial data management.
.Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
.Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and forecasting.
.Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
.Participate in Lean/Kaizen events to improve financial processes.
.Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation related to finance.

Minimum Qualifications

.Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, Finance , marketing, data science, or a related field Master's degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on data-driven decision-making.
.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
.Experience in the consumer goods retail industry is highly desirable.
.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
.Technical Skills - Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, GenAI and advanced Excel.
.Leadership Skills - Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive change within an organization.
