Role Mandate
Own the
accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial books for
GrowthSchool's group entities. Be accountable for clean closes, zero compliance surprises, and audit-ready financials at all times as the company scales globally.
Key Responsibilities
Group Accounting & Close
Own
end-to-end monthly books closure for all group entities
Ensure accurate GLs, accruals, provisions, depreciation, and inter-company accounting
Prepare group-level schedules and support consolidation
- Maintain strong makerchecker discipline and audit trails
Statutory, Regulatory & Tax Compliance
- Own end-to-end statutory and tax compliance across group entities
- Manage indirect and direct tax filings, reconciliations, and assessments
- Lead statutory and tax audits; handle notices and regulatory interactions
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Controls, Governance & Policies
- Implement and enforce accounting policies across the group
- Strengthen internal controls as scale and complexity increase
- Ensure clean inter-company documentation and reconciliations
- Support board, investor, and audit requirements with high-quality data

- Group books closed on time every month without escalations
- Zero missed statutory or regulatory filings
- Clean audits with no material observations
- Leadership confidence in reported numbers without second-guessing
Ideal Candidate Profile
- CA / CA-Inter / CMA
- 812 years of experience in accounting and statutory compliance
- Strong hands-on experience with multi-entity accounting
- Prior exposure to group or cross-border structures
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and dependable
