Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Environmental & Social Due Diligence
- Conduct E&S risk assessment of new and existing credit proposals review sector-specific risks, regulatory compliance, permits, and borrower practices in line with ABCL policy.
Risk Identification & Mitigation
- Identify key environmental, social, health & safety risks recommend mitigation measures, covenants, and risk controls for decision-making.
Environmental & Social Action Plan (ESAP) Management
- Prepare ESAPs based on identified gaps coordinate with customers and internal teams for timely implementation and closure of action items.
Monitoring & Compliance Review
- Track ongoing borrower compliance with agreed E&S conditions through periodic reviews, site visits, document checks, and escalation of deviations.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory
- Guide customers on ABCL's E&S requirements support issue resolution, corrective actions, and awareness on sustainable practices.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare summary notes for risk/credit committees, maintain accurate due diligence records, monitoring reports, and MIS for management review.
Policy & Capability Development
- Keep track of regulatory and global E&S developments support enhancement of internal frameworks, processes, and staff/customer training initiatives.
