C.Key Result Areas
.Accountable for managing Solaris, Linux, virtualization and cloud server platforms .Ensure server availability, performance, patching, hardening and compliance .Manage OS lifecycle including installation, upgrade and configuration .Ensure adherence to ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management) .Drive security compliance including VAPT remediation and patching .Coordinate with application, security and vendor teams. .Maintain documentation, CMDB and operational standards |
D.Skills Required
Technical | .Solaris, AIX and Linux OS installation, patching, and upgrades .Server hardening and compliance .User access and privilege management .Experience with VMware and Hyper‑V virtualization platforms .Knowledge of backup tools (NetWorker & Commvault) .Experience in monitoring tools and performance tuning .Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management) .Exposure to cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) operations .Experience in VAPT remediation and security compliance .Knowledge of SAN storage, clustering, DR, and replication .Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills .Good documentation and reporting skills | |
