Senior Manager Engine Application, Sales & Business Development

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead Engine Application, Technical Solutions and Business Development. The role combines technical expertise in engine applications with sales, customer management, P&L ownership and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engine application engineering, including engine selection, sizing, load analysis and machine integration.
• Understand customer/OEM requirements and recommend suitable diesel, gas or alternate-fuel engine solutions.
• Drive business development, new customer acquisition, sales and revenue growth.
• Manage key OEMs, industrial customers, consultants, EPCs and technology partners.
• Own P&L, pricing, margins, commercial negotiations and profitability for the assigned business.
• Manage the complete customer lifecycle from enquiry and proposal to order, commissioning, collections and after-sales support.
• Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and resolution of application-related issues.
• Drive collections, debtor management and payment recovery.
• Identify new market opportunities, technologies and customized engine solutions.
• Coordinate with engineering, suppliers and engine manufacturers for application-specific requirements.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Engine Application / Powertrain / Industrial Engines / Technical Sales / Business Development.
• Strong understanding of engine selection, application engineering, machine integration and performance requirements.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, OEM business development and key account management.
• Experience managing P&L, revenue, margins and commercial negotiations.
• Strong customer-facing, technical consulting and negotiation skills.
• Experience in diesel/gas engines, industrial equipment, automotive, construction or power generation will be preferred.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Production / related discipline preferred.
