Plan, coordinate, and monitor E&M project execution in alignment with schedule and budget.
Coordinate between engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams to ensure seamless execution of E&M works.
Review technical designs documents, technical specifications, and vendor drawings for turbines, generators, transformers, switchgear, control systems, and balance-of-plant equipment.
Manage procurement, contract negotiations, and vendor performance for major E&M packages.
Oversee site erection, testing, commissioning, and performance guarantee tests.
Ensure compliance with project technical requirements, industry standards (IEC, IEEE, ISO), and contractual obligations.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Coordinate with civil, hydro-mechanical, and transmission teams for integrated project delivery.
Engage with clients, consultants, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders on E&M matters.
Lead, mentor, and develop project engineering teams.
Foster a culture of technical excellence, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving.
Evaluate and approve equipment selection, manufacturing quality plans, and factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures.
Oversee change orders, claims, and contractual correspondence related to E&M scope
Qualifications
B.E./ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
15+ years of experience in E&M, preference from the Hydro/PSP industry.
