Role Description -

We are seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented analyst for our Macro Research team. Senior Manager - Macro Research is a full-time onsite role in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for performing in-depth Macro Research and analysis to support our Research and Investment Teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Indian Equities, Macro Policies, Capital Markets, and High-Frequency Indicators, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of preparing impactful reports and delivering actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities -

● Support Research Team - Working with the Management Team & Senior Analysts by presenting regular Macro Updates and Insights by tracking the key economic indicators.

● Maintain Macro Dashboard - Develop and maintain our in-house Macro Dashboard with real-time coverage of High-Frequency Indicators (IIP, PMI, E-way Bills, Vehicle Sales, Power Consumption etc.)

● Report Preparation - Create concise reports and strategy presentations on macro outlook and

critical development to support our research and advisory team.

● Event Tracking - Tracking key macro events (both Indian and Global), analysing their impact on

capital markets and the larger economy and presenting research notes for our client base.

● Trend Analysis - Perform in-depth aggregate data analysis on sector rotation, corporate profits,

private Capex, capacity utilisation, and capital flows into select sectors and present insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications -

● Educational Background - MSc. Economics or MBA/PGDM - Finance

● Professional Experience - 5-7 Years of experience in economic/financial research analysis

● Technical Skills - Advanced Excel, Powerpoint (high proficiency), SQL (basic) can be a value-add

● Database Skills - Bloomberg, DBIE (Must be well versed), CMIE, Ace-Equity, Capitaline

● Analytical Skills - Strong Analytical and Quantitative Skills with ability to deal with complex data

● Communication Skills - Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

● Ability to work independently with a high level of self-motivation and initiative
