Job Description

Position: E-commerce Growth Architect (Portfolio Lead)

Location: Remote (India Goa Preferred)

Market Focus: United States

Industry: D2C Skincare, Coffee, and Apparel

Experience: 4+ Years

Compensation : 1000$ - 1500$ Monthly

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Growth Architect to lead the growth strategy for three Shopify-based direct-to-consumer brands across skincare, coffee, and apparel categories.

This role goes beyond managing campaigns or updating product listings. The ideal candidate will act as the strategic bridge between data-driven insights and technical execution, leading a team of specialists across Email Marketing, SEO, Design, and Customer Support to build a scalable growth engine targeting the US market.

Key Responsibilities

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Plan and execute A/B testing initiatives across landing pages, product pages, cart flows, and checkout experiences.
  • Continuously optimize the customer journey to maximize conversion and revenue.

Retention & Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)

  • Develop and scale subscription models for the Coffee and Skincare brands.
  • Implement drop-based launch strategies for the Apparel brand to increase engagement and repeat purchases.

Shopify Tech Stack Optimization

  • Audit, manage, and streamline the Shopify ecosystem.
  • Identify inefficient applications or workflows and implement improvements to enhance store performance.

Performance Analytics

  • Monitor and analyze deeper performance metrics beyond ROAS, including:
  • Media Efficiency Ratio (MER)
  • Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
  • Contribution Margin
  • Use data insights to guide strategic decisions across all three brands.

US Market Localization

  • Ensure all brand touchpoints are tailored for the US market, including shipping strategies, messaging, and user experience.

Required Skills & Experience

Shopify Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with Shopify OS 2.0.
  • Ability to work with Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript to implement front-end changes without relying heavily on development tickets.

Marketing & Growth Tools

  • Advanced experience with Klaviyo (email and automation flows).
  • Experience with subscription platforms such as Recharge or Bold.
  • Familiarity with attribution and analytics tools such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, or GA4.

Growth Strategy

  • Strong understanding of growth loops and scalable acquisition/retention strategies.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and build solutions proactively.

Team Leadership

  • Experience managing a distributed team of specialists, ensuring alignment with performance KPIs and growth objectives.

Preferred Qualifications (Green Flags)

  • Prior experience scaling D2C brands in the US market.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with experience using heatmap and behavior tools such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity.
  • Focus on operational efficiency, including automation using tools like Zapier or Make.
  • Strategic ownership of growth across three high-potential D2C brands.
  • The ability to shape the technical and strategic direction of the e-commerce ecosystem.
  • Support from a dedicated execution team, allowing focus on high-impact growth initiatives.
