Senior Manager Ecommerce - Experience in managing Alpha business - Flipkart/Myntra

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Manager Ecommerce role based in Gurgaon for Carlton London .

The Senior Manager Ecommerce will own and grow the Myntra and Flipkart alpha business, including end-to-end P&L management, forecasting, and performance tracking for assigned categories and brands.

Responsibilities include managing marketplace relationships, driving annual and seasonal business plans, team management , optimizing listings and catalog quality, and leading promotions, campaigns, and merchandising strategies.

The role will involve close collaboration with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, finance, and brand management to improve visibility, conversion, and profitability.

The Senior Manager Ecommerce will also analyze data to identify growth levers, manage inventory and pricing strategies, oversee content and assortment, and provide regular performance reports and insights to leadership.

Qualifications

Hands-on E-Commerce experience, preferably managing Myntra / Flipkart alpha business or similar fashion and lifestyle marketplaces

• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret ecommerce data, manage P&L, forecast demand, and drive data-backed decision-making.
• Excellent Communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, marketplace negotiations, and clear reporting to stakeholders.
• Proven Sales experience in driving revenue growth, improving conversion, and managing targets in an online or retail environment.
• Solid Marketing understanding, including on-platform campaigns, merchandising, visibility planning, and performance optimization.
• 5–8+ years of relevant experience in ecommerce, marketplace management, or category management, ideally in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle.
• Experience in P&L ownership, pricing strategy, promotions planning, and inventory management for online channels.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence internal and external partners and work in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
