Job Description

Senior Manager, Ecommerce

Location: Bangalore, India

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the brand's end-to-end 360° e-commerce business across key online marketplaces, Quick Commerce, E-commerce, and D2C platforms including Nykaa, Meesho, JioMart, Myntra, 1MG, brand website, and other emerging channels.
  2. Drive strategic partnerships and Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to accelerate sales growth, profitability, and market share.
  3. Build, launch, and scale Origami's D2C business, owning website sales, UI/UX, customer journey, conversion optimization, and agency coordination for seamless execution.
  4. Own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), budgets, and P&L for the e-commerce business, while creating dashboards and performance reports for regular business reviews.
  5. Lead brand, marketing, and content strategies for monthly and annual campaigns, managing performance metrics such as ROAS, CTR, CAC, and conversion rates.
  6. Ensure robust inventory planning, supply chain efficiency, and fulfilment processes to support growth.
  7. Own product assortment, pricing, catalogue management, PDP optimization, and enhanced content including Brand Stores, A+ content, videos, and rich media assets.
  8. Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, activities, and category trends to drive agile business decisions.
  9. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations to deliver business objectives.
  10. Stay ahead of market trends through regular research, new platform updates, emerging software, and AI-led growth opportunities.
  11. Expand the category presence on new-age platforms such as ONDC, FirstCry, FirstClub, and other high-growth channels.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • FMCG is a must
  • 8-12 years experience in leading ecommerce for a start-up brand
  • Significant experience in scaling brands
  • P&L ownership experience

Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of Indian ecommerce ecosystems and platform mechanics
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution orientation
  • Proficiency in ecommerce tools, analytics platforms, and MS Office
  • High analytical capability with comfort in working with data and dashboards

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Ecommerce revenue and growth [New portals]
  • Coordination with partner agency for existing platforms strategy
  • Full-Fledged D2C website development and launch
  • Development of new marketplace portals, define SOPs for the channel
  • Team and internal capability development
