Senior Manager - Data Management
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, analyzing and interpreting complex Investment data to support new and retention bid inquiries as required by the strategic bid center (SBC), external survey requests, and other similar inquiries needs internal to the Wealth line of business. This individual must ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems and sources, as well as within the output delivered by the SBC, Wealth or the external surveys completed.This person must stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes and best practices regarding both institutional investing and data analytics.
We will count on you for:
- Develop and maintain leadership dashboards delivering actionable insights for senior Investments leaders and consultants.
- Manage, analyze, and interpret complex investment and financial data to support bid inquiries, RFPs, and surveys.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple systems and data sources.
- Automate data processing and reporting using Excel (including VBA) and Python to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver timely reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in institutional investing and data analytics.
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure accuracy, identify trends, and maintain consistency in outputs.
- Respond quickly to ad hoc data requests from the Strategic Bid Center and internal stakeholders.
- Support quarterly and annual survey data compilation and validation from various internal and external sources.
What you need to have:
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, Data Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data analysis within institutional investments, asset management, or related financial services environment.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and large financial datasets and market data vendors, experience with BI tools, and a solid understanding of institutional investment solutions required.
- Expertise in data management, data visualization, and analytics to transform complex financial datasets into actionable insights.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills necessary.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast past, external deadline environment necessary.
- Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful data solutions.
- Skilled in ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across multiple data sources and systems.
- Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools and techniques to complement dashboard development and data storytelling.
