Position Overview

We are looking for an experiencedManager - Data Deliveryto lead our data engineering initiatives, drive data-driven decision-making, and collaborate closely with stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data engineering, data visualization (preferably using MicroStrategy), cloud technologies (AWS), and stakeholder management.

This role is ideal for a data engineering leader who can bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy, ensuring impactful data solutions that drive business success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and manage data engineering teams to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines.
Driveend-to-end data solutions, from ingestion to transformation and reporting.
Overseedata visualization efforts, ensuring effective dashboards and reports in MicroStrategy or similar BI tools.
Collaborate with business teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
Support Delivery Architect and implementdata solutions on AWS & Databricks
Ensuredata governance, security, and compliance in alignment with business requirements.
Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate technical concepts effectively, and influence decision-making.
Run workshops with Business and align Business stakeholders to optimal solutions
Optimize and maintain ETL processes for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Drive best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and data quality assurance.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the data ecosystem.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance data engineering culture.
Contribute to hiring and talent development strategies to build a strong data team.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

.14-18 years of experience in data engineering, BI, and cloud technologies.

.Proficiency in AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda etc.).

.Well versed with Databricks

.Hands-on experience with ETL development, data pipelines, and data modeling.

.Familiarity with SQL, Python, and Spark

.Exposure to modern data architectures and cloud-based analytics.

.Strong understanding of data visualization principles with BI tools, preferably using MicroStrategy

.Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive alignment and influence decisions.

.Experience in leading teams (15+ team size), project delivery, and working in an Agile environment.

.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance technical and business priorities.

.Experience in managing distributed teams across multiple geographies, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.

.Strong communication skills verbal, written and visual presentations

.AWS certification (preferred).

.SAFe Certification (preferred).
