Job Description

Experience Required 

Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience 

Availability: Candidates should be able to join within 30 days from the date of offer. Immediate joiners will be given preference. 

Job Summary 

The Senior Manager – Data Analysis & Government Programs will play a key role in supporting and implementing government tourism schemes through strategic data analysis, team leadership, and high-quality presentations. The role requires close coordination with the Commissioner Secretary, senior government officials and field team translating complex data into clear insights for policy planning, decision-making, and reviews. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Data Analysis & Insights 

  • Lead data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to tourism schemes and government initiatives 
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical models to track performance, impact, and outcomes of schemes 
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting for internal and government reviews 

Government Coordination & Scheme Implementation 

  • Work closely with the Commissioner Secretary, Department of Tourism, on all ongoing and upcoming government schemes 
  • Support planning, monitoring, and evaluation of tourism programs and policy initiatives 
  • Prepare briefing notes, summaries, and analytical inputs for high-level meetings 

Presentations & Communication 

  • Create clear, professional, and data-driven presentations suitable for government officials, senior bureaucrats, and stakeholders 
  • Present findings, progress updates, and recommendations confidently to senior leadership and external forums 
  • Translate complex data into simple, actionable insights for non-technical audiences 

Team Leadership 

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts and project staff under Grassroots PMU 
  • Allocate tasks, review outputs, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work 
  • Foster a collaborative, performance-oriented team culture 

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, and external agencies 
  • Support inter-departmental alignment on tourism initiatives and reporting requirements 

 

Required Skills & Competencies 

Technical & Professional Skills 

  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, PowerPoint; exposure to BI tools is an advantage) 
  • Excellent presentation and documentation skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple government schemes and priorities simultaneously 

Leadership & Communication 

  • Proven team leadership and people management capabilities 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Confident presenter with experience engaging senior officials and stakeholders 

Behavioural Competencies 

  • High attention to detail and structured thinking 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, government-facing environment 
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Postgraduate degree in Management, Economics, Public Policy, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related fields 
  • Prior experience working with government departments, public sector projects, or donor-funded programs is highly desirable 

Salary : Compensation in line with industry standards, with accommodation and travel expenses fully covered.
