Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain the infrastructure as code using Terraform or Cloud Formation to automate the provisioning of cloud resources.
Create and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management and application deployment.
Implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.
Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in the deployment process.
Monitor and troubleshoot production environments to ensure high availability and performance.
Implement and maintain version control and release management strategies using Git and GitHub Actions.
Automate repetitive tasks and streamline operational workflows using scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
Stay up to date with emerging DevOps trends and technologies and evaluate their applicability to the organization's infrastructure.
Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience in scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and hands-on experience with Jenkins or similar tools.
Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
