Job Description:
- Responsible for assuring all financial and accounting operations are in compliance with IndAS, IGAAP and IFRS. Develop local policies, SOPs and procedures where needed.
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures in a timely and accurate manner including preparation of monthly reconciliation of all key balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial results to management team
- Oversee entire general ledger function
- Responsible for Business risk assessment and analysis
- Manage day to day accounting activities and identify and implement more efficient and automated processes and procedures
- Assist in sharing information required for monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns
- Review and ensure strong financial controls are maintained in the business
- End to End management of financial Reporting & Audits (Statutory and group reporting)
- Handle complex adhoc request with a short turnaround time and supplement such request with appropriate analysis and comments to support decision making.
- Proactive in reviewing financial information, identifying exception / inconsistencies, initiate action and followup for logical closure.
Desired Candidate profile:
- Leadership skills, foster an environment of collaboration and drive changes with implication beyond the finance function
- Solid understanding of GAAP (practical knowledge of IndAS IFRS preferred) and handled Big4 auditors for statutory audit
- Experience implementing internal control procedures
- Expert knowledge of SAP & MS Office
Soft skills:
- Qualified CA with 8 -12 years of experience
- Excellent communication skills and should be able to mentor/ coach team.
- Should be a person with Go getter attitude and able to deliver results with minimum supervision.
- Expect high level of integrity and ownership at work and able to demonstrate excellence in performance.
- Should have an eye for detail and drive projects.
