Role: Senior Manager – Content Operations
Role Overview
The Senior Manager – Content Operations will lead end-to-end content workflows across broadcast and post-production environments, ensuring seamless execution, quality control, and timely delivery of media assets. This role requires strong cross-functional coordination, project leadership, and a forward-looking mindset toward AI-enabled media operations.
Key Responsibilities
1) Content Ecosystem Strategy & Lifecycle Leadership
- Lead the strategic design and evolution of the content ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration across ingest, post-production, broadcast, and distribution platforms.
- Drive end-to-end content lifecycle governance, aligning workflows, technology, and stakeholders to enable scalability, efficiency, and future-ready operations.
- Establish and continuously refine content operating frameworks covering versioning, metadata, archiving, and quality standards to support business growth and multi-platform delivery.
- Act as a thought partner to creative, technology, and distribution teams, identifying ecosystem gaps, emerging industry trends, and opportunities for innovation.
- Champion data-driven decision making and process transformation, moving beyond execution to build resilient, agile, and intelligent content workflows.
2) Project & Program Management
- Lead multiple content and transformation projects simultaneously.
- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables; ensure on-time and on-budget execution.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across editorial, technical, and distribution teams.
3) Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key interface between business, creative, and technical stakeholders.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies clearly to leadership.
- Build strong relationships to enable smooth execution and alignment.
4) AI & Media Technology Enablement
- Drive adoption of AI tools in media management (e.g., metadata tagging, QC automation, content discovery, workflow automation).
- Work on AI-led initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, and accuracy in content operations.
- Stay updated on emerging AI and media tech trends and recommend relevant applications.
5) Governance & Quality Assurance
- Establish SOPs and best practices for content handling and delivery.
- Maintain high standards for compliance, content security, and quality benchmarks.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Broadcast and Post-Production environments.
- Strong understanding of post-production and content workflows.
- Proven experience in project/program management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated exposure to AI applications in media workflows and participation in related projects.
Good to Have
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar).
- Experience in digital content distribution and OTT ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Media Asset Management (MAM) systems.
