Job Description

Responsibilities

Site Execution & Project Management:

Manage and oversee day-to-day execution of infrastructure projects at the site, ensuring compliance with project plans and schedules.

Implement construction best practices, quality assurance measures, and safety standards (OSHA, IFC, ISO 45001).

Monitor progress against the master schedule and coordinate with the Lead - Infrastructure for issue resolution.

Ensure adherence to design specifications, engineering standards (BIS, IRC, NBC), and environmental guidelines (MoEF&CC, IGBC).

Conduct regular quality inspections, audits, and material testing to maintain infrastructure integrity.

Maintain accurate records of project progress, including site reports, material consumption, and contractor performance.

Technical Coordination & Compliance

Review drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure alignment with the approved design.

Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP teams, landscape designers, and urban planners to facilitate seamless execution.

Supervise the installation of pipelines, drainage, roads, and township infrastructure, ensuring alignment with international best practices (FIDIC, AASHTO, Eurocodes).

Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) guidelines, conducting periodic safety drills and audits.

Troubleshoot technical and site execution challenges by engaging with relevant stakeholders and expert consultants.

Contractor & Stakeholder Management

Oversee and manage contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to SLAs and work orders.

Track and verify work progress, resource allocation, and payment certification in coordination with the finance team.

Collaborate with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and utility service providers to secure necessary clearances.

Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including site teams, consultants, and leadership.

Sustainability & Innovation

Integrate smart infrastructure solutions such as IoT-based monitoring, digital twins, and automated quality control systems.

Implement sustainable construction practices, including low-carbon materials, water-efficient designs, and renewable energy integration.

Optimize resource utilization through Lean Construction and Value Engineering methodologies.

Conduct periodic training for on-site teams to improve technical expertise, safety compliance, and environmental consciousness.

Qualifications

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Planning, Urban Development.

Work Experience(Range Of Years)

10-12 Years

Preferred Industry

Experience in large-scale infrastructure development, with a focus on roads, townships, and urban planning.

Strong experience in mega infrastructure projects, CAPEX planning, procurement strategies, and stakeholder coordination.
