AB InBev India is currently looking to hire a Senior Manager, Compliance on the L&CA team (Legal and Corporate Affairs) based in Bangalore. As Senior Manager, Compliance, you will report directly to Associate Director, Compliance for AB InBev India.

Responsibilities

· Demonstrate integrity in all actions and decisions.

· Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations and best practices, and ensure that the company remains in compliance e.g. anti-corruption laws, anti-trust laws, data privacy laws, etc.

· Lead and manage investigations into potential violations of company policies; prepare investigation reports with findings, conclusions, recommendations for corrective actions

· Perform third party risk assessments and compliance reviews

· Utilize data analysis tools and provide data driven insights to support work

· Develop and refresh policies and conduct trainings.

· Implement data protection and privacy programs

· Implement antitrust and anti-competition programs

· Work cross functionally with functions outside of the L&CA teamto support compliance efforts

· Take on special projects as needed

SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

The ideal Compliance Senior Manager will have:

Bachelor's or master's degree in law, business, or a related field.

· Minimum 7 years PQE with at least 3 years of experience in compliance or ethics roles.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal and regulatory issues to non-legal stakeholders.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

· Professional certification in compliance, ethics, or a related field is a plus.

· Must have a strong commitment to ethics and integrity.

Further skills that would be helpful:

• Qualified lawyer with experience in Compliance / Investigations at a Law Firm or at a multinational company would be a plus
• In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations governing the alcohol industry in India
• Experience at a company with major, consumer-facing brands is helpful
• Experience in beverage/brewing or another highly regulated industry would be a plus
