Overview

Technical Expertise

Hands-onexpertisewithdata warehouse tools likeSnowflake, Databricks,redshiftincludingarchitecture design, warehouse sizing, RBAC/security implementation, SQLoptimizationand performance tuning.
Strong Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) engineering skills covering cluster architecture, networking, namespaces, pod security, autoscaling, ingress, operators, and workload troubleshooting.
Advanced experience with Helm for templating, packaging, release automation, and deployment lifecycle management.
Expert-level Infrastructure as Code development using Terraform, including module design, state management, automated provisioning, variable strategies, and CI integration.
Strong Python programming skills for automation, orchestration, data transformations, API scripting, and platform tooling.
Expert-level SQL capabilities including query optimization, stored procedure development, analytical function usage, and schema design.
Strong CI/CD engineering experience using GitHub Actions, including workflow design, automated testing, deployment pipelines, and artifact management.
Deep hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud services including identity/security management,compute, networking, storage, monitoring, and cost optimization.
Proficiency in implementing platform observability and SRE practices (metrics, logging, alerting, tracing, SLO/SLI development, capacity planning, and incident response).
Strong foundation in data engineering concepts including ELT/ETL pipelines, data modeling, data quality frameworks, and metadata management.
Experience implementing enterprise-grade security controls including encryption, IAM/RBAC governance,secrets management, network segmentation, and audit/compliance frameworks.
Ability to troubleshoot end-to-end platform performance issues acrosscompute, storage, orchestration, network, SQL, Snowflake, and cloud environments.

- . Proven experience leading platform build initiatives from architecture through deployment and operationalization.
  . Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance, design reviews, and code reviews.
  . Track record of driving engineering standards, best practices, and automation maturity across teams.
  . Experience leading cross-functional collaboration with security, analytics, application, and business stakeholders.
  . Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced, enterprise-scale environments.
  . Strong experience owning incident response and root cause analysis, including postmortem reporting and preventive engineering.
  . Ability to influence design direction, recommend modern technologies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  . Comfortable translating complex technical requirements into clear deliverables and timelines.

  . Knowledge of Docker image lifecycle management.
  . Industry certifications (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Snowflake, Terraform).

Qualifications

Education :
Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology.
Minimum 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
