Job Overview
The position holder is responsible for the day-to-day Cabin Crew operations at IFS are carried out effectively as per the stipulated standards.
Responsibilities And Duties
I: Cabin Crew Grooming & Poise
- Reinforce cabin crew grooming standards and strategies to develop, implement and maintain grooming standards and polices for cabin crew
- Collaborate with Ifly team to incorporate grooming guidelines for operating cabin crew
- Strategies ways to provide constructive feedback to crew members regarding areas where their grooming standards need improvement.
- Document any grooming deficiencies and take appropriate corrective action
- Participate in grooming standard training and updates to stay current with airline policies.
- Provide guidance and support to crew members on maintaining high grooming standards.
- Develop and implement policies regarding grooming, poise and physical fitness in alignment with aviation regulations and airline health standards.
- Create procedures, policies and guidelines in line with corporate policies and IFS standards to ensure fair and consistent management of Cabin Crew
II: Cabin Crew Hiring
- Willingness to travel Pan India to conduct cabin crew interviews and assist in ensuring panelists availability
- Partner with HR to create a sustainable talent acquisition strategy taking cabin crew retention into consideration
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies along with HR to attract qualified cabin crew candidates.
- Target driven approach to meet month on month hiring numbers with a focus on quality of hire
- Partner with the HR team to prioritize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and candidate sourcing strategies, focusing on minimizing recruitment costs while ensuring high-quality hires
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies related to recruitment and hiring.
- Ensuring all costs are kept within IFS department budget and align with company goals
III: Managing Crew availability (Long NA cases)
- Work closely with scheduling teams to manage temporary replacements amongst cabin crew and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Keep up to date with industry best practices and recommend improvements to non-availability policies
- Conduct audits and prepare reports on trends, challenges, and areas for process enhancement around long NA
- Provide regular updates to management on crew availability status and operational impact.
- Monitor and track cabin crew members who are on long-term leave, ensuring their cases are handled efficiently.
- Liaise with Flight safety, HR, and legal teams to assess return-to-work readiness.
- Ensure compliance with airline policies, labor laws, and aviation authority guidelines regarding long absences.
- Maintain and update records of non-availability cases, documenting all necessary details.
- Develop and implement structured return-to-work plans in collaboration with HR and flight safety
- Conduct reintegration meetings and briefings for returning crew members.
- Develop support mechanisms for crew members on long leave, such as counseling, peer support groups, and wellness programs.
