As a Senior Manager - Category Management, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and developing strategies for the effective management of product categories within the organization. With 4.0-8.0 years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for driving growth, optimizing product assortment, and enhancing the overall performance of assigned categories.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category management plans to meet business objectives and financial targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align category strategies with overall business goals.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee product assortment decisions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track category performance and make data-driven decisions for optimization.
- Lead and mentor a team of category management professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and best practices in category management to drive continuous improvement.
Your role will involve strategic planning, data analysis, team leadership, and collaborative decision-making to drive the success of the category management function.
