About the Role
As the Senior Manager, Category Account Management, you will be at the forefront of shaping the seller experience charter on Walmart.com for India CBT (Cross Border Trade) team. You will lead a team focused on developing and executing strategies that empower sellers to optimize their product listings, manage their inventory, understand performance metrics, and leverage various Walmart services. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, strong analytical skills, and a passion for helping businesses grow.

Walmart Marketplace is a rapidly growing e-commerce platform that empowers businesses of all sizes to reach millions of customers. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Manager, Seller Enablement to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the success of our third-party sellers by providing them with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive on the Walmart Marketplace.
What you'll do
- Seller Enablement Strategy & Execution: Design and implement end-to-end seller enablement strategies, programs, and initiatives to drive performance, retention, and satisfaction across Walmart Marketplace.
- Seller-Driven Problem Solving: Identify seller pain points and growth opportunities, and translate them into scalable solutions, tools, and resources.
- Feature Adoption & Engagement: Accelerate adoption of Walmart Marketplace features, tools, and services by sellers through targeted enablement and communications.
- Cross-Functional Product Partnership: Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to advocate for seller needs and influence the roadmap of seller-facing capabilities.
- Content & Resource Development: Own the development and upkeep of high-quality, actionable seller-facing materials, including guides, tutorials, webinars, FAQs, and best practices.
- Performance Analytics & Insights: Track and analyze key seller metrics, uncover trends, and identify improvement opportunities to inform decision-making.
- Executive Reporting & Recommendations: Build and present data-driven insights to leadership to guide strategic priorities and resource allocation.
- Impact Measurement & Benchmarking: Define success metrics, establish benchmarks, and evaluate the effectiveness of enablement initiatives against seller outcomes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Business Development, Account Management, Marketing, and Customer Service, to deliver a cohesive seller experience.
- Voice of Seller Advocacy: Represent seller perspectives in internal forums and product development discussions, ensuring their needs shape solutions and strategy.
- Market Intelligence & Differentiation: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and best practices in seller enablement to identify opportunities for marketplace differentiation.

- Market & Industry Awareness: Strong understanding of e-commerce trends, competitive dynamics, and seller enablement best practices to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
Minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree.
- 8+ years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, seller support, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership or cross-functional management role
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful programs that drive business growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.
