Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Industrial Relations Management:

Investigating and resolving employee grievances, complaints, and disputes.

Facilitating communication between management and employee unions or representatives.

Negotiating collective bargaining agreements.

Monitoring potential labor unrest and implementing preventive measures.

HR Compliance Oversight

Staying updated on all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

Conducting regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks.

Implementing and maintaining employee handbooks and compliance training programs.

Managing employee documentation related to employment contracts, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.

Investigations And Disciplinary Actions

Conducting thorough investigations into employee misconduct or policy violations.

Implementing appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.

Reporting And Analysis

Preparing reports on compliance status, key metrics, and potential risks to management.

Identifying trends and areas for improvement in HR practices.

Required Skills And Qualifications

Strong understanding of labor laws, employment regulations, and relevant legal frameworks.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively handle employee concerns and manage conflict.

Proven experience in industrial relations, including union negotiations and grievance handling.

Analytical skills to identify compliance risks and develop proactive solutions.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
