Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the division in the pharma (domestic formulation) business, ensuring accurate reporting, forecasting, and analysis
- Conduct detailed sales variance analysis to identify trends, gaps, risks, and growth opportunities within the pharma business
- Monitor overall business turnover and ensure alignment with annual operating plans and organizational targets
- Prepare, review, and present Gross Contribution (GC) reports and other critical financial MIS
- Drive pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability in the pharmaceutical market
- Provide financial insights and decision support to cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Commercial)
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for the pharma business division
- Ensure strong governance and accuracy in financial systems, with hands-on experience in SAP (SAP HANA preferred)
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin improvement within the pharma value chain
Required Experience & Skills:
- Mandatory experience in the pharmaceutical industry (domestic formulation business only)
- Proven experience in managing large-scale pharma business turnover and P&L responsibility
- Strong expertise in variance analysis, pricing, costing, and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with SAP (SAP HANA preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualification:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- 8–9 years of post-qualification experience in pharma finance roles
