Role Purpose:
Drive growth of Cleartrip's API business by acquiring, managing, and scaling partnerships with OTAs, travel agencies, fintechs, loyalty platforms, and other ecosystem partners. The role involves identifying new opportunities, structuring commercial deals, and ensuring seamless API integration to maximize distribution and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development
- Identify and target potential partners across travel, fintech, loyalty, and corporate ecosystems.
- Pitch Cleartrip's API solutions (air, hotel, A PIs) to prospective partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations including commercials (commissions, incentives), and deal structuring.
- Partnership & Account Management
- Manage end-to-end partner lifecycle: onboarding, API integration, go-live, and growth.
- Act as the business POC during technical integration along with the product/tech team.
- Drive revenue targets by deepening wallet share with existing partners.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Track competitor moves, product launches, and new distribution models.
- Provide insights to product/tech teams for improving APIs and enhancing partner experience.
- Contribute to overall API GTM strategy and business expansion plans.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with legal, finance, compliance, and product teams for smooth execution of partner contracts.
- Partner with the operations team for resolving escalations and ensuring SLAs are met.
