Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Benefits Configuration to lead and manage complex benefits configuration initiatives for US healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Benefits Configuration, strong hands-on experience with Facets, and proven leadership skills to manage teams, stakeholders, and large-scale configuration programs. This role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely configuration of healthcare benefit plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Benefits Configuration for US healthcare plans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business requirements
- Provide subject matter expertise in Facets benefits configuration, including plan setup, benefit rules, accumulators, and pricing
- Manage and mentor configuration teams, conducting quality reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with business, operations, testing, and IT teams to translate benefit requirements into system configuration
- Oversee impact analysis for benefit changes, enhancements, and regulatory updates
- Ensure timely delivery of configuration deliverables across multiple projects and clients
- Act as the primary point of escalation for complex configuration issues and production support
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation within benefits configuration
- Participate in audits, UAT support, defect triage, and post-production validation
- Prepare and present status reports, metrics, and insights to senior leadership and external stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12–18 years of overall IT / Healthcare experience
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in Benefits Configuration
- Strong expertise in Facets/HRP (Benefits, Product, and Plan Configuration)
- In-depth knowledge of US healthcare benefits, including medical plans and benefit structures
- Proven experience in managing teams and delivering large-scale configuration initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience working in US client environments and offshore delivery models
- Ability to work independently during US night shift hours
