Impact
This position commands a mission-critical mandate within banks global payment architecture, orchestrating seamless execution of high value payments, ACH and FX Operations. This role manages high-volume, time-sensitive payment processing while driving process improvements, automation, and regulatory adherence across domestic and international corridors. By harmonizing operational mastery with strategic foresight this position ensures the banks continued eminence as trusted custodian of high value movements.
Key Deliverables
Oversee end-to-end wire transfer processing (incoming/outgoing, domestic & cross-border)
Ensure adherence to cut-off times, SLAs, and quality standards
Manage high-value transactions flow with zero tolerance for errors
Lead daily governance calls and manage operational escalations
- Risk & Compliance Management
Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, OFAC/sanctions screening, and regulatory guidelines
Maintain strong controls to mitigate fraud and operational risks
Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to address findings and strengthen frameworks
Act as a key interface with Technology, Compliance, Product and Global Teams
Manage senior stakeholder communication and reporting
Resolve client and business escalations efficiently

Functional Skills
Skills and Qualification
- Deep knowledge of wire systems: SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, RTGS, knowledge on ISO 20022, payment gateways and forex dealing systems to ensure flawless transaction processing.
- Strong understanding of global payments and banking regulations
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Proven capability to lead operational transitions, system migrations and process integrations with minimal disruption to critical payment flows

- Expertise in steering payment operations through outages, market volatility, or operational disruptions, ensuring swift recovery and minimal business impact
- Ability to architect operational scorecards, define KPIs, and implement monitoring frameworks to measure and enhance performance
- Adept at leading multicultural and geographically diverse teams while ensuring seamless operational collaboration across time zones
- Data-driven mindset: comfortable with operational metrics, dashboards and continuous improvement programs (eg. STP, resolution, speed, sanctions/fraud)
Education And Experience
- Degree/master's degree in Banking and Finance
- 12-14 years of payment and Banking Operations domain including Deposit and Treasury operations
- Minimum 7+ years of People management experience
