In this role, you have the opportunity to join the leading innovator in image-guided therapy solutions as Senior Manager and Product Owner for the AzurionEye solution - an integrated, AI-enabled software platform. You will shape and lead the software architecture for a portfolio of RESTbased, microservicefirst applications that power our clinical data lake platform, development of data curation workflows and system software. You will blend deep handson engineering with product management skills, ensuring our solutions are secure, scalable, cloudready, and compliant for the medtech domain.
You will be part of the Image Guided Therapy Systems business unit with development sites in the Netherlands, China and India. This business unit is responsible for marketing, service, development and manufacturing of solutions and products used in minimally invasive procedures. You will join the global R&D department.
In this role, you are responsible for:
Leading a Data & AI software team throughout the development process in support of product releases that meet customer needs, cost goals, quality goals, and schedule constraints.
Develop skills and improve performance of engineers in the team. Ensure good communication within the team and between other engineering teams and other functional areas.
Perform various management tasks including budgeting, performance appraisal, salary administration, hiring, and employee coaching and performance management.
Acts as the primary interface between the customer and development teams, handling the management of stories and backlog for multiple products/modules of high complexity, typically delivered by multiple teams, possibly serving as an epic owner for strategic initiatives.
Maintains focus on multiple systems/modules, guiding the delivery of new features or enhancements within existing frameworks, even in cases where requirements may not be well-defined or understood initially.
Lead cooperative efforts among members of a project team or participate on a cross functional team.
Facilitating iteration and sprint planning at a cross-team or train level, orchestrating efforts to synchronize priorities and coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure alignment with program goals and objectives.
Execute on the organization's strategy, providing clearly defined success criteria and levels of accountability for individuals in the team. Remove impediments for the progress of the teams and act as escalation point.
Manage the needed capabilities whilst developing and maintaining a long-term view on the required competences and knowledge.
Execute continuous improvement in processes and ways of working to achieve operational excellence.
Defines clear program increment objectives at a cross-team or train level, collaborating with stakeholders to establish measurable goals and milestones that support broader organizational strategies and priorities.
Influence and participate in the development of product and technology roadmaps and annual budgets, as well as deliver on project and budgetary commitments.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science engineering
Overall 16+ years of industry experience
8+ years software development experience
Track record of demonstrated people and process management skills (at least 5 years experience)
Over 4 years of experience serving as a Product Owner within Agile development teams.
Experience with IGT and/or medical device service is an added advantage
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work across time-zones and cross-functional teams.
Strong experience with Agile Lifecycle Management Tools (TFS, ADS etc.)
Persuades and facilitates rather than using authority. Creates an environment of mutual influence.
Encourages and supports the personal development of each individual and the development of teams
Global travel as required.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
