About This Role
We are seeking an experienced AWS Network & Security Specialist to provide Level-3 operational support and ensure robust architecture and security posture for AWS cloud network platforms. This role involves designing secure network architectures, managing hybrid environments, and driving automation for security operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security in the development lifecycle and support compliance with global standards.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement secure AWS cloud network architectures.
- Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA).
- Operate and secure firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS solutions.
- Act as L3 escalation point for network and security incidents.
- Automate security operations using scripting and orchestration tools.
- Perform threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with platform teams and vendors to embed security in SDLC.
- Support audits and regulatory assessments.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years experience in AWS Network & Security.
- Strong AWS networking knowledge (VPC, TGW, Direct Connect, VPN).
- Expertise in FortiGate Firewall and network security appliances.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOC2, HIPAA).
- Certifications such as Fortinet NSE 4/5/7, CISSP, or CCNP Security are desirable.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
