The Position
Organization - Jubilant Biosys Limited
Designation - Senior Manager / Associate Director - Fire & Safety
Location - Nanjangud, Mysore
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Fire Fighting system.
- Ensure all statutory requirements pertaining to the Factories Act, Explosives Act and Petroleum Rules, Gas Cylinder Rules, and SMPV Rules are complied.
- Carry out HAZOP/ HAZAN analysis/ HIRA for all activities & carry out in the plant and recommendation are implemented in time bound manner.
- Carry out detailed investigation for all Incident/ Accident including First- Aid cases and Near Miss cases along with other members and ensure implementation of recommendations.
- Carryout periodical Safety audit, and follow up for implementation of corrective actions to improve the safety performance in the plant.
- Ensure that daily round the clock Safety Surveillance is carried out.
- Imparting Safety Training.
- Coordinating for ISO 45001:2018 standards implementation across Site.
- Coordinating for Central Safety Committee Meeting & follow up for implementation of recommendations.
- Updating Onsite Emergency plan & Carry out Mock drill at regular intervals.
- Handling deviation change management & Review through track wise.
- Training coordinator for online training module (Compliance wire)
- Approval of Purchase requisitions and Service entries in SAP module.
Requirement:
- 15+ Years Experience in Fire & Safety from Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Chemical Manufacturing industries
- 5+ year experience in leadership role
- Diploma / Degree in Chemistry / PG in Chemistry / B.Tech Chemical
