IT strategy and architectures

Understanding of application and infrastructure architecture based on different IT technologies and what is currently in use. Knowledge of IT operations and the current implementations.

Project Management

•

Understanding of Project Management principles. Understanding of Planning, execution and review of IT projects and deliverables.

•

Coordinating various project related activities involving project planning, execution and management in tune with the core business objectives (including risk management, effort/ time/ cost estimation).

•

Monitoring project progress as per scheduled deadlines for various tasks. Taking necessary steps to ensure project completion within time, cost & effort parameters.

•

Setting up and maintaining process, documentation, and quality standards for all phases of the SDLC.

•

Responsible for developing the Global Delivery Model for the company for EAS engagements.

•

Managing risks and planning for contingencies to ensure minimal effect on deliverables. Enforcing strict compliance to the SLA terms negotiated with the client.

Vendor Management

Selecting the right vendor / provider and who will meet timelines and be scalable for support and Development. Defining the deliverables; negotiating a good value proposition to which the vendor can commit.
