- Own the end-to-end accounting and reporting requirements for the allocated product, from source data through journals, reconciliations, disclosures and management information.
- Translate product design, actuarial outputs and operating model changes into clear accounting requirements, process maps, controls and delivery plans.
- Prepare and review reporting outputs, balance sheet substantiation and supporting analysis in line with the agreed reporting timetable.
- Design and operate reconciliations between administration, investment, actuarial and general ledger data, investigating and resolving breaks promptly.
- Support testing, dress rehearsals, implementation and post-launch stabilisation, with clear defect, issue and decision tracking.
- Maintain robust documentation, including accounting papers, procedures, control evidence, data lineage and handover materials.
- Partner with business and technology teams to reduce manual intervention and embed sustainable business-as-usual processes.
