About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Specialist / Analytics Lead with strong hands-on expertise in SQL and Python, and experience in analytics-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background from a Tier-1 institute and prior exposure to fraud detection frameworks, rules-based systems, and analytical model development. Experience in Machine Learning and GenAI will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end analytics tasks including data extraction, processing, and analysis using SQL and Python.
- Develop and maintain analytical frameworks, dashboards, and decision support systems.
- Build and optimize rules-based engines for fraud application identification and fraud customer identification.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Risk, Product, Engineering) to design and implement analytical solutions.
- Apply Machine Learning techniques where required to enhance fraud detection accuracy.
- Contribute to GenAI-driven analytics initiatives and automation projects.
- Present insights, trends, and recommendations to leadership for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain data governance, accuracy, and documentation of analytical workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 25 years of experience in Analytics or Data Science roles.
- Strong SQL and Python programming skills (hands-on experience required).
- B.Tech or MBA from Tier-1 institutes (IIT/IIM preferred).
- Experience working with fraud detection rules, fraud identification systems, or risk analytics.
- Exposure to Machine Learning models (classification, anomaly detection, scoring models).
- Understanding or hands-on experience in Generative AI (GenAI) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in BFSI, Fintech, Risk Analytics, or Fraud Analytics domain.
- Ability to work independently and lead analytical initiatives end-to-end.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and fraud risk mitigation
