Designation: Senior Manager – Business Finance (Sales, Distribution & Logistics)

Reporting To: DGM – Finance

Location: Gurugram

Purpose of the Role

To act as the senior finance business controller for Sales, Distribution and Logistics operations, ensuring profitability, cost optimisation, governance and financial discipline. This role carries functional finance leadership responsibility over Sales & Distribution operations at Guwahati.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Distribution Finance

• Approve dealer discounts, incentives, commissions and schemes

• Analyse Net Cement Realisation (NCR) and scheme impact

• Evaluate NPV and ROI of sales schemes before rollout

• Review dealer performance and lifting trends

• Approve dealer claims and commercial payouts

Logistics & Supply Chain Finance

• Financial control over primary & secondary freight

• Approve freight benchmarks and logistics cost structures

• Review transporter and logistics vendor bills

• Analyse route-wise and lead-wise logistics cost deviations

Financial Controls & Governance

• Implement internal financial controls across sales and logistics

• Ensure policy compliance and cost discipline

• Review sales & distribution accounting and closures

Planning & Decision Support

• Review ABP vs Actual performance

• Interpret BI dashboards and recommend actions

• Present insights to DGM – Finance and management

Authority & Decision Rights

• Final financial authority for sales schemes, dealer claims and logistics costs

• Right to question, hold or reject non-compliant spends

• Direct escalation to DGM – Finance

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

• 10–12 years post-qualification experience

• Minimum 4 years in Sales & Distribution / Commercial / Supply Chain Finance

• Experience in cement / FMCG / manufacturing preferred

Skills

• Strong commercial finance acumen

• Deep understanding of NCR and logistics economics

• Advanced Excel and SAP FI–SD experience

• Strong stakeholder management and decision-making skills
