Key Responsibilities:
- Specialty Products & Biosimilars - driving with rigor and end-to-end responsibility:
- Ideation, Selection, Nomination, Business Case preparation & time-to-time refresh, stake holder alignment, oversee filing, IP tracking, competitive intel, etc.
- Working closely with Marketing & Country Teams
- Prepare & Present progress to Senior Leadership through dashboards
- Flag risk and propose risk-mitigation plans
- Product Life Cycle Management to ensure commercial success
- Work Closely with Commercial Teams and other CFTs to build EM Specific Product Portfolio - ideation through execution
- Leverage US/EU Pipeline, in-alignment with EM requirements and Therapy Area focus
- Prepare Portfolio Gap Analysis and bridging plan, support make vs buy decisions to bring product alive
- Benchmarking Portfolio globally with key Gx and Specialty Cos. in Therapy Area of strategic focus, highlight any back-end and/or front-end capabilities built to support product driven growth aspirations
- Propose New Therapy Area / New Growth Area / New Technology Platform / etc. to make EM organization future growth ready
- Prepare, Update, and Manage country wise Portfolio Trackers, MIS, and Dashboards with complete ownership
- Propose scalable digital tool / solution and drive adoption to support portfolio requirements
A] Management Reviews and Reporting
- Organize and drive monthly update to Countries on progress in close co-ordination with CFTs
- Organize and drive monthly update to Senior Leadership - MRM, QRM
- Leverage existing knowledge management systems and ensure availability of information to all stake holders at any point of time
B] Portfolio SPOC for Country & Internal / HO Stakeholders
- Work closely with Country and constantly monitor internal and external competitive landscape like IP, Innovator Launch, Competition, and Regulatory changes, COGS, Timelines, API challenges, Opportunities, etc. & resolve/escalate for any impact on Product Development / Filing / Launch Strategy.
- Support various review forums like CPM & Cross-functional teams including Marketing, R&D, RA, IP, API, Strategy, Business Development, NPL, in planning and analysis and enable data driven decision making – Timeline changes, Trade dress, Prioritization of products, Commercial viability etc. compared to Apex Plan
- Work seamlessly with CFTs to ensure product and commercial success (CFTs: R&D, Medical, Marketing, IP, RA, Country Teams, Commercial Heads, Mfg., CQA, External Consultants, etc.)
C] Portfolio & Project Management Activities
- Preparation of Annual EM Portfolio Budget, Filing Grid, Plan Vs. Actual, etc.
- Work with Internal stakeholders to ensure all details required for Portfolio Management
Educational & Experience:
- Work Ex.: 6 to 8 Years in Pharma industry in relevant role
- Education: Pharmacy / Science Grad.; MBA is an advantage
- Must have working knowledge of Specialty Products, Biosimilars, Complex Gx and GxPortfolio Management
- Good understanding of product development process, business processes, IP and Regulatory
- Broad knowledge / capability to understand product profile [indication / side effect / interaction / MoA / competing products / commercial landscape / future pipeline / etc.]
