Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to lead the financial reporting function.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, managing audits and

consolidations, and ensuring compliance with Ind AS or IFRS. Experience in treasury will be an added

advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in
  
  

accordance with The Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), or International Financial Reporting Standards

(IFRS) as applicable.

• Consolidation: Manage the consolidation of financial data from multiple entities or business units,
  
  

ensuring accurate and complete reporting.

• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  
  

and business performance improvement.

• Compliance: Stay up to date with accounting standards and regulatory changes, ensuring the company's
  
  

financial reporting remains compliant.

• Auditing: Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary
  
  

documentation and addressing audit inquiries.

• Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure the
  
  

accuracy of financial data.

• Financial Reporting Software: Utilize financial reporting and analysis software/tools to streamline the
  
  

reporting process and enhance data accuracy.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial reporting and drive
  
  

efficiency in reporting procedures.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with other
  
  

departments to provide accurate financial projections.

• Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in special financial projects as required by the organization, such as mergers
  
  

and acquisitions, financial system implementations, or process redesigns.

Qualifications & Skills

• Mandatory: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional certification
  
  

Experience

• 4+ years of experience
• Proven track record in financial reporting
• Added advantage: experience in treasury
  
  

Technical Proficiency

• Strong knowledge of Ind AS/IFRS
• Hands-on with financial reporting systems/tools
  
  

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial data
