Purpose of the role:
This position will be responsible for the sales and business development functions of the University- PG Programs
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility to drive growth and profitability for the University
- Achieving enrolment targets
- Ensuring strong school, college, University, coaching centres and other education domain partnerships and alliances, to drive revenues
- Building credibility and equity of CU brand amongst key stakeholders
- Representation in Seminars and school events.
- Institutional Liasoning, Student Welfare and Community relationship building.
- Conduct Events at Schools & Colleges: Create an events strategy and calendar of events to drive student/Institution engagement.
- Plan and conduct events for the student community members.
- Identify targets and opportunities to create partnerships.
- To pursue opportunities for partnering with relevant institutions, foundations, community etc.
- Plan and execute the Open days and Information sessions on and off campus
- Effectively present to large groups of prospective students and families.
- Support all on-going Admission initiatives for university admissions.
- Openness to travel / outreach: The profile requires for the candidate to be open to visit and meet with consultants and counsellors - schools and institutes on a regular basis, almost every day within the city and occasionally within assigned territory.
- The candidate is required to travel out of city/country as per calendar for mega events that are planned in target cities as per the business plan.
- Overall - Achievement of business target through maximizing student enrolment in various PG programs

- Proven success in admissions closure in a collaborative, matrixed environment with multiple direct and indirect reporting structures throughout the organization.
- Stakeholder collaboration experience, with the ability to quickly develop and manage both internal and external relationships across cultural and geographical boundaries; the ability to use a collaborative model to leverage resources effectively.
- Proven success record leading and building the team of counselors and tele callers an agile workforce that responds quickly and effectively to changing business situations and demands.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate issues and recommendations persuasively and effectively to key stakeholders.

Qualifications Required
- Bachelors degree in Science / Commerce is a must. Preferably MBA with suitable proven experience will be considered
- Minimum 12+ years of sales operations and business development experience in University/B-School/colleges required with exceptional commercial acumen.
- Having worked for admissions closure of programs like BA, BBA,BSC, BCOM, LAW, MBA, MSC,MCA in the University set up for at least 4-5 years.
Reporting Relationship
- Reports to Director - Admission
