Position Overview
The Senior Manager - Accounts Receivables is responsible for leading the company's global AR function across AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions. This role oversees credit evaluation, Billing/Invoicing, cash flow optimization, risk mitigation, and team performance while ensuring alignment with company objectives. The individual will partner closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to balance revenue growth with prudent credit risk management.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable to lead a high-scale, global AR function supporting over$7B USD in annual receivablesacross both eStore and non-eStore businesses. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, advancing automation (including AI-driven solutions), and ensuring world-class financial controls and compliance.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of operational rigor, strategic thinking, and people leadership, with a proven ability to transform AR processes in a complex, multinational environment.
Responsibilities
Lead the global Accounts Receivable function, ensuringaccurate, timely invoicing and cash applicationat scale
Own and drivemonth-end and quarter-end AR close processes, including reporting and schedule preparation
Overseecredit card reconciliationsand ensure accuracy across high-volume transactions
Managebad debt provisioning and forecasting, partnering with Finance on risk assessment and planning
Monitor and optimizeAR aging and collections performance, proactively addressing overdue balances
Partner cross-functionally withSales, Customer Success, and Financeto resolve billing issues and improve the customer experience
Ensure full compliance withinternal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards(corporate and statutory)
Drivecontinuous improvement and automation initiatives, including increasing touchless cash application and exploring AI-enabled solutions
Support and influenceenterprise-wide systems and transformation projectsimpacting AR processes
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing AR team, fostering accountability, growth, and operational excellence
Manageunclaimed property processesin collaboration with Corporate Accounting
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
10+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, including leadership roles in amultinational environment
Proven track record managinglarge-scale AR portfolios (multi-billion USD)
Preferred Qualifications
Deep expertise inAR operations, cash application, and partnering with a collections team.
Advanced proficiency inExcel, with strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Hands-on experience withSAP and Salesforce(or comparable ERP/CRM systems)
Demonstrated success inprocess transformation and automation, including exposure to AI or digital initiatives
Strong leadership presence with the ability toinfluence cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
