Job Description

About the Company

Join the Citrin Cooperman Management Consulting practice as part of a growing, entrepreneurial consulting team focused on helping middle‑market organizations solve complex business problems and improve performance.

About the Role

As an MC Senior, you will support the full lifecycle of client engagements—from problem definition and diagnostics to recommendations, implementation planning, and execution support—working with leaders across functions to drive measurable results through process, organization, and operating model change. This role is ideal for those looking to contribute to the practice's early growth. We're looking for adaptable consultants who thrive in less structured environments, help shape the practice, and grow into deeper specialization over time.

Responsibilities

  • Support a broad range of transformation and advisory work, including:
  • Business, Finance, and Operations Assessments – Evaluating people, process, and technology maturity and identifying practical improvement opportunities
  • Process Redesign & Optimization – Redesigning end-to-end processes and advising on automation and enabling tools
  • Operating Model Design – Aligning finance and operations with strategy, governance, and performance goals
  • Value Creation – Driving EBITDA and cash improvement through growth, cost reduction, working capital, and performance management
  • Digital Enablement – Using data, automation, and AI to improve decisions and execution
  • Systems Strategy & Selection – Defining requirements and supporting vendor agnostic software selection (primarily ERP and adjacent solutions)
  • Implementation Advisory and Organizational Change Management – Supporting major implementations by managing change, organizational impacts, and key decisions
  • Merger & Acquisition Integration – Support planning & integration of personnel, processes, and systems during merger, acquisition, or carveout events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • Approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience, typically including management consulting, transformation advisory, or equivalent client‑facing roles
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Process improvement, business analysis, Excel modelling, and requirements gathering and analysis
  • Digital enablement, automation, data, or AI initiatives
  • Exposure to multiple core finance processes (e.g., Record‑to‑Report, Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay)

Required Skills

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in ambiguous, evolving environments
  • Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong PowerPoint and data‑visualization capabilities
  • Comfort operating across strategy, process, systems, and change
  • A collaborative, team‑oriented approach with the ability to coach and support junior team members
  • Intellectual curiosity, ownership mentality, and a drive for professional excellence

Preferred Skills

  • Industry experience: Manufacturing & Distribution, Professional Services, Not‑for‑Profit, Life Sciences, or Financial Services
  • Experience with modern ERP platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, Intacct, or Sage
  • High-degree of proficiency in Microsoft Toolsets including Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Copilot, etc.

Pay range and compensation package

We seek highly motivated individuals with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage dynamic priorities in a fast-changing industry. As a confident team player and communicator, you'll inspire teams with your strong people management skills and passion for driving meaningful change. If you're ready to embrace responsibility, innovate, and make an impact, this role is for you.
