Senior Mainframe developer

Role: Senior Mainframe developer

Experience: 8 to10 yrs

Location: Bangalore/Chennai

• Minimum 5+ yrs experience in Mainframes & DB2 ·
• Strong development experience in COBOL and DB2.
• Strong skills in mainframe Batch scheduling / tuning.
• Strong in DB2 DDL, DML and Preferably with DB2 & Cobol tuning experience.
• Able to interact with customer, understand their need and capture the requirement accurately.
• Good analysis and problem resolving skills.
• Exposure to Mainframe MQ will be a plus.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Experience in Cobol, DB2, CICS & JCL

2 Experience in Mainframes development

3 Experience Unit Testing

4 Very good analysis skills. Ability to read the spec and ensure COBOL code output is in sync
