We are seeking a skilled Senior Machinist & Rotating Equipment Expert to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in machining and maintenance of rotating equipment, with a strong focus on precision and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain CNC machines and manual lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision components.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing of rotating equipment parts.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on rotating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and improve machining processes and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the machining area.
- Train and mentor junior machinists on best practices and machine operation.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in machining and rotating equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency in operating CNC and manual machining tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality control processes.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, and turbines.
- Ability to perform complex troubleshooting and repairs on rotating machinery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
