Responsibilities and Duties

As Senior Software Engineer II, you will work closely with the Engineering Manager, Architect, Product Manager and team.

1) What You Will Do

Join the FAMS AI Engineering Team to build secure, scalable AI-powered solutions using Python frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, and Django. You'll work across classical machine learning, NLP (including BERT), and generative AI, deploying models and services via CI/CD pipelines on Azure. Your responsibilities will include building APIs, integrating with blob storage, cognitive services, and message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus. You'll also leverage Databricks, OpenAI for scalable data processing, model training, and collaborative development.

2) What We're Looking For

We're looking for a tech-savvy engineer who's excited to innovate and solve real-world problems. You should bring:

• Advanced Python skills (OOP, debugging)
• Strong experience in ML, deep learning, and NLP (including transformers like BERT)
• Hands-on exposure to generative AI and prompt engineering
• Familiarity with SQL, Linux commands, CI/CD, and file systems
• Practical experience with Azure services and cognitive APIs
• API and microservices development experience
• Comfort working with message brokers and deployment workflows

An ideal candidate should have understanding and hands-on experience with the following technologies:

• 8+ years of experience (combination of machine learning and software development - in Python)
• Python Advanced (OOPS concept-advanced)
• Python debugging (advanced)
• Classical Machine Learning (advanced)
• Deep Learning (intermediate)
• NLP Techniques (expert)
• Transformer (BERT Architecture-intermediate)
• Basic Generative AI (prompt engineering-intermediate)
• Basic SQL, File systems (blob etc)
• Basic CI/CD deployment
• Basic Linux commands
• Azure services (app service, VMs, blob storage, DBs, key vault, azure services bus/RabbitMQ, Azure OCR, other cognitive services-intermediate)
• API development (Flask/Fast/Django-intermediate)
• Microservices architecture (development experience-intermediate)
• Message broker (should have used-intermediate)
