Job Title: Senior Logistic Executive

Job Location: Pirangut, Pune

Peppermint is a robotics company based out of Pune (INDIA). Started in 2019 at SINE IIT Bombay, Peppermint Robotics has grown into a leader in commercial cleaning robots, industrial material handling robot and has its operations across 6 countries. Peppermint Robotics has teams based out of its offices in Pune (INDIA), Dubai (UAE) and Austin (USA).

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Logistics personnel with a strong expertise in International export operations, freight forwarding coordination, and import/export documentation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and compliant global logistics operations while optimizing cost and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end International logistics operations including exports and imports.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and CHA (Customs House Agents).
  • Plan and execute shipments as per delivery schedules and customer requirements.
  • Handle export documentation such as:-
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Packing List
  • Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Shipping Bill
  • LC (Letter of Credit) documentation (if applicable)
  • Manage import documentation and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or logistics issues.
  • Negotiate freight rates and optimize logistics costs.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, production, finance) for order execution.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare logistics reports.
  • Liaise with government authorities, customs, and regulatory bodies when required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
  • Certification in Export-Import / International Trade (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of International shipping procedures and Incoterms
  • Hands-on experience with export/import documentation
  • Experience in handling freight forwarders and logistics vendors
  • Good understanding of customs clearance processes
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
