Role Overview:
iVedha Inc. is looking for a skilled Senior LogicMonitor Engineer or Monitoring Specialist who can take ownership of monitoring, automation, and integration within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have strong, hands-on experience working with LogicMonitor, developing data sources, tuning alerts, and building dashboards, along with solid Python development skills for API-based automation and customization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage resource groups, properties, and alert rules in LogicMonitor.
- Design and maintain escalation chains and integrations with tools such as PagerDuty or ServiceNow.
- Develop and fine-tune data sources, thresholds, and alerting configurations to ensure proactive monitoring.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into system performance.
- Troubleshoot monitoring and integration issues across infrastructure and applications.
- Automate recurring monitoring tasks and configurations using Python and LogicMonitor APIs.
- Work closely with infrastructure and application teams to strengthen observability and system reliability.
Required Skills (Must Have):
- Strong hands-on experience with LogicMonitor
- Experience deploying and managing LogicMonitor collectors
- Solid understanding of infrastructure and networking fundamentals
- Working knowledge of common monitoring protocols:
SNMP
SSH
WMI
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience creating meaningful monitoring dashboards
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Python and/or Java for scripting, automation, or API usage
- Familiarity with LogicMonitor APIs
- General understanding of ServiceNow and monitoring integrations
- Exposure to other observability tools (e.g., Elastic, Dynatrace)
- Basic knowledge of database monitoring
- Ability to support training and knowledge transfer sessions
Experience Level/Education:
- Mid to Senior level – 5 to 10 Years.
- Experience working in large-scale or enterprise environments is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications:
- LogicMonitor Certified Associate (LMCA)
- LogicMonitor Certified Professional (LMCP)
