About the Role Seeking a strong Senior Linux / Kubernetes Platform Engineer to build and operate scalable, reliable platforms for data and critical workloads in hybrid/multi-cloud environments (heavy focus on Linux, Kubernetes, Azure).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, scale, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (primarily Azure AKS) in cloud/hybrid setups
- Manage and optimize Linux systems (RHEL/Ubuntu), including hardening, tuning, patching, and automation
- Handle virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, KVM) and enterprise backup / disaster recovery
- Leverage Azure services (AKS, VMs, Networking, Storage, Monitoring) for resilient infrastructure
- Manage networking (CCNA-level: TCP/IP, VLANs, load balancers, firewalls, DNS, VPN)
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution using ITIL practices
- Automate infrastructure (scripting, Ansible, Terraform, Helm) and collaborate on self-service platforms / IaC
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years production Linux engineering and on Kubernetes (cluster ops, networking, storage, security, troubleshooting)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware, KVM)
- Knowledge of backup/recovery tools (Veeam, Azure Backup, etc.)
- Strong Azure expertise (AKS, VMs, Networking, Monitor)
- CCNA-level networking skills
- ITIL and incident management familiarity
- B2+ English (fluent spoken & written)
Preferred IaC (Terraform/Ansible), CI/CD, monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana), container security, hybrid cloud.
