Senior Linux Display Driver Development Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Linux Display Driver Development Engineer to own and drive display enablement for AMD platforms, working across pre‑silicon architecture to post‑silicon product delivery. This is a high‑impact, cross‑functional role at the intersection of Linux kernel, hardware, and graphics stacks.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain Linux Display drivers (DRM/KMS)
  • Enable display pipelines including modesetting, bring‑up, stability, and regression handling
  • Develop/debug DisplayPort & eDP (Link training, MST/SST, DSC, compliance)
  • Work across HDMI, MIPI DSI, panels, overlays, and hardware pipelines
  • Collaborate with Mesa / Wayland / X11 teams for end‑to‑end graphics enablement
  • Perform deep system-level debugging and root cause analysis
  • Drive issues to closure, manage priorities, and deliver on program goals

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in Linux system software / display driver development
  • Strong expertise in DRM/KMS, Linux kernel internals (DMA, interrupts, memory)
  • Proficient in C (C++) and kernel debugging tools
  • Experience delivering production-quality code
  • Strong communication, ownership, and cross‑team collaboration skills

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
