Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Linux Administrator to take ownership of our infrastructure in a fast-paced startup environment. This role requires hands-on expertise in Linux systems, cloud platforms, automation, and security. You will play a key role in building scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable Linux-based infrastructure.
- Own end-to-end system reliability, performance, and uptime.
- Build and automate infrastructure using scripting and IaC tools.
- Manage cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and optimize costs.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Ensure security best practices, patching, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead incident response.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps workflows.
- Drive infrastructure improvements and adopt new technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and define best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 510+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
- Strong expertise in Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS).
- Advanced scripting skills (Bash, Python).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system architecture.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
