Licht Kunst Licht is a world-leading, multi award-winning architectural lighting design studio with offices in Bonn, Berlin, Barcelona and Bangalore.

With over 1,000 projects realized worldwide, we collaborate with internationally renowned architects and developers on projects that demand precision, clarity, and environmental responsibility. Our broad lighting project portfolio ranges from various categories like museums, offices and retail to masterplans.

As our Bangalore studio continues to grow, we are looking for a senior team member to run international projects.

Experience: 4–7 years

• You bring conceptual maturity and technical depth.
• You can lead projects from first ideas to execution, willing to travel, engage confidently with architects and consultants, and mentor junior designers with structure and clarity.
• You are comfortable balancing design ambition with technical rigour.
• You are curious, detail-oriented, and eager to build strong foundations.
• You want meaningful exposure to diverse typologies and globally relevant projects, and you are ready to take responsibility early in your career.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- Background in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Scenography or related design disciplines

- Masters in Lighting Design (preferred)

- Working knowledge of lighting simulation tools (Dialux / Relux or similar)

- Proficiency in AutoCAD

- Strong command of Adobe Suite (Photoshop & InDesign essential) and MS Office

- Clear communication skills and strong command of spoken and written English

- Structured thinking, initiative, and a solution-oriented approach

WHAT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conception and execution of lighting solutions

- Preparation and execution of presentations for architects and clients

- Coordination between project partners (internal and external)

- Preparation of lighting calculations and cost estimates/calculations

- Preparation of construction documents and detail drawings- Preparation of bills of quantities

- Execution of artistic supervision and site management

- Knowledge in the areas of daylighting and BIM is an advantage
